Ashley Benson, PhysicalMind Institute Master Pilates Trainer, with over 20 years of experience in almost every facet of professional fitness, including personal training, group fitness and Pilates class instruction, blogging & guest writing for health / fitness companies, fitness instructors / coaches mentoring, and teacher-training course creation. As a collegiate volleyball athlete whose career was cut short due to injuries, Ashley developed a deep passion for rehabbing and repairing her own body from all the wear and tear from sports. She found the solution in Pilates and from there, used the Pilates fundamentals to build a successful training format, combining strength training and plyometrics with Pilates technique.
